Enjoy the beach, private swimming cove and the Columbia River

Park your RV or Tent next to the rushing Columbia River at Peach Beach Campground & RV Park and get ready for an action-packed day. Hop into your boat to land some steelhead, salmon and walleye. See if the bass are biting if you cast off from shore. Hit the waves for the rush of windsurfing or water-skiing. The park has its own grassy beach and private swimming cove. Maryhill State Park, bordering the park, has boat ramps (fee) and a dock.

Full hookup and pull-through RV sites are available, and each can accommodate up to six people. Restrooms, showers and an onsite dump station will help make your stay comfortable. Friendly and efficient camp hosts maintain the grounds, but if you’re bringing a pet to the park, please clean up after it. Feel free to barbecue, but use only propane. No campfires or charcoal barbecues are permitted.

The surrounding peach orchards contribute to a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere at Peach Beach RV Park. If you’d like to sample some, along with cherries, grapes and other locally grown produce, plan a trip to Gunkel Orchards Fruit Stand, a family owned local fruit company. Nothing tastes as sweet as a juicy peach right off the tree. The Maryhill Winery, six miles away, serves up both fine vintages and first-class entertainment.

For supplies and services, like groceries, restaurants and gas, you’ll find what you need in Goldendale, historically a farming and timber community. When it’s time to hit the links, several courses are in the area. The Goldendale Country Club and Dalles Country Club are both 9-hole regulation length courses.
